A) The services of Best Man and Van are not expensive and there is no extra or hidden charges applied at our platform.
Q) Are the online payments safe?
A) Yes, because we are using the services of the most trusted companies World Pay and PayPal.
Q) Why we have cheaper services as compared to other companies?
A) While using our platform, companies lower their prices because we do not charge any advertising or registration fees.
Q) How do I make a payment after adding all the information on the booking form?
A) After adding all the information, click on “Book Now” button and you will be directed to the payment page. Follow all the instructions and make payment.
Q) Are your drivers insured?
A) Yes, all of our drivers are insured.
Q) What should I do when my possessions are damaged?

Q) Should I pay congestion and road toll charges?
A) We don’t have any software that recognizes that you are moving within the congestion zone. So, £11.50 will be added in your total bill. If you don’t want to pay any congestion charges, then book our services on weekend or after 18:00 pm on week days. In case of road toll charges, you have to pay charges when you pass through toll road.
Q) Do you have availability of the drivers?
If a driver’s price appears on the quote page, then it means he is available for the time you need.
Q) May I book a service for two hours?
A) Yes, online quotes are subject for two-hour minimum charges.
Q) Do I have to pay a parking fee?
A) Yes, if there is a need of parking, then you have to pay parking fees.
Q) Should I get any confirmation email?
A) Yes, you will receive a confirmation email on your mailing address which contains all the booking details.
Q) Will I get a receipt on completion of my move?
A) Yes, you will get an online as well as paper receipt after completion of your move.
Q) Can I stop in-between the pickup and drop off destination?
A) Yes, you can stop in-between by clicking on “Add Stop” button on the “My Move Page”.
Q) Do we travel with the driver?
A) Yes, if you choose driver+ 1 man helper, then only one man can travel with the service provider.
Q) Should I pay any extra charges on the day of move?
A) Yes, if you take extra time of our driver, then you have to pay for the time that exceed the allotted time.
Q) How early should I reserve a service?
A) We advise our customers to book man and van service as soon as possible to secure the availability.

Q) Can I compare a quote without a confirmed time and date?
A) Yes you can, but it is not possible to make booking without adding time and date. Add approximate time and date to get a quote.
Q) Do you provide more man power on the day of move?
A) If you require more man power, then you have to speak with the service provider directly.

It is very important to keep in mind that cancelation fees will be charged depending upon the notice that you give us before the booking is due to start.
If we receive a cancelation request more than seven working days after your booking, then you will be refunded all the card payments without any delay
If a cancelation request has been received within seven working days after your booking, then 33% will be charged as a cancelation fee. On the time of booking, if you pay full amount through debit/credit card, then 67% will be refunded to you without any delay
If you postpone your booking, then we retain the right to hold your amount that you have paid unless you cancel in some future date. In this situation the above mentioned cancellation fees will still apply
If you cancel a booking within 24 hours before the booking is due to start, then there will be no refund for the client. This payment will be paid to the driver because he will not receive any other request for the time you had reserved him

Best Man and Van offers refunds. It maintains the trust of our customers on the services.
If you cancel a booking more than seven days after booking, then all the card payments will be refunded to you without any delay. We do not delay in providing your refund because our customers are the first priority for us. The full refund includes all the card payments that you have paid while booking.

Incorrect information provided during the get quotes process:
We request you to provide relevant information while booking at our website. If you fail to provide accurate information, then you will face delay.
Poor Weather Conditions:
In case of adverse weather conditions, completion of your move can be affected by rain, snow, wind, fog and ice. These weather conditions are likely to affect your travel and the time that is needed for loading and unloading of your items. By keeping the weather condition in view, we provide you a facility of waterproof packing.
Road Traffic Delay:
During peak travelling hours, school run congestion, highway maintenance, temporary road works, road accident, public sector strike, police check point and advertised events such as sports and festivals, you might face delay in your move.
Pets and Children:
Keep your children and pets at a safe place while you are shifting your items. You should keep them away from the items that are to be moved to avoid any safety issues.
Dismantling and Assembly:
In the case, you want to shift large furniture like up/down stairs, drawers and doors, you need to remove all the items prior to the arrival of moving team. This helps you to lower the weight of the items and to stop swinging of the doors and damage any of other items during the process. If there is a need of dismantling, then our service provider will do that and reassemble the item at the destination.
Packing of Your Items:
Keep all of your items in a packing box carefully. Pack your items before the mover arrives to spare any waiting time later on.
Wastage of Time:
Our drivers may waste a lot of time due to the following reasons:

- Moving to or from the property that has door entry phone system
- Internal locked security doors
- A lift that is used by multiple residents for multiple floors
- The management or staff to reporting you on our arrival each time
- Visitor passes intended to be attained on arrival
Always remember to inform the management about your moving date and time. Before arrival of our driver, clear the ways for the drivers so that they can easily complete their task without any delay.
